M3 tac lite mount for rem 870

does anybody know where i can get a mount that clamps to the ext on my 870 to attatch my M3 tac illuminator? don't like the setup that attatches under the forend cap.

here is a clamp mount (http://www.atigunstocks.com/SHTMAGCLAMP.html) for a common flash light. You could us a mag light or a better personal one. I plan on using for my stream light scorpion (http://www.streamlight.com/scorpion_specifications.htm) light (getting the shot gun Monday and ordering the clamp soon after). That way is cheaper and works just as well I think but if you already have the M3 or something you could get this (http://sidearmor.net/catalog/default.php/cPath/24_42?PHPSESSID=da4368b15e853a024cdef4059b1ad316) as well

thanks for the info. i was hoping for something besides the sa mount. it looks nice but is too much. i went ahead and ordered the streamlight mount.

i would caution against using a scorpion or anything else not designed as a weapon light. a shotgun has quite a bit of recoil and the batteries will slam into the lamp assembly. don't think it'll hold up for long. on a .223 it would suffice but not a 12ga.

check out the tac star 2000, it's around $79. includes mount. cheapest way to go, next up being M3 then surefire forend.

attaching a rail to your pumphandle is a better solution. your m3 will attach securely and you'll have control over it.

good point... I would almost be upset having already goten the scorpion, but I like it so much I was going to get another one anyway...

so I guess it looks like the tac star may be in my future instead, and since it comes with a mount will not end up costing me much more than a light + mount would anyway (if any).
