I have a chance to buya Savage Model 69 RXL defensive shot gun.

It is in excellent condition. The wood is 95+ % No scratches or ding's.
The metal and blueing have no scratches, and only a couple very small wear marks on the pump rail and tube. The internals look new, barrel bore looks spot less, and the rest of what I can see looks almost new.

I know savage is not the top of the line, but what are the pro's and Con's of this gun. :D

Any Info would be appreciated.

Here is some information on the Savage 69 RXL.

Its a good defensive shotgun, used by the police, also in the military. It saw action in Vietnam.
With a 7+1 capacity and if it is in the condition you say, it would make a good HD Shotgun,- IMHO.

Description: Savage has long been known for their rifles, pocket pistols and more recently as well for their shotguns. The 69 RXL was designed as a law enforcement grade shotgun, the bore was designed to allow for the widest possible pellet distribution. It is a common sight in the hands of rural law enforcement officers and has even been seen in the hands of US service personnel.
