Ok i got this scope for my .300 weatherby magnum model vanguard. It has the bell that turns so you can sight it in at a 100 yards and then turn the bell down to 10 and be able to shoot at 10 yards and not worrie about shooting to high. It also has 3-12x zoom witch is nice. Comes with a detachable cone for the front so if you deside to shoot at something that could see the glare off the rifle they wont be able to see it with the cone on it. Also ITS CHEAP. It is in matte black so it doesn't look like the pic that much and i don't have a digital camra to show you it but it is realy nice. It works good to.

Well, I hate to break this too you, but let's just say that if your BSA lasts without breaking for more than 10 rounds on a .300 magnum, then you're doing better than most. Also, AO scopes like that one which can focus down closely are nice for things like rimfires and airguns, but you're paying for something that is unnecessary if it's on a rifle such as that one - after all, are your really going to shoot at something at 10 yards with that rifle? My advice would be to, in the future, not skimp on optics - cheap scopes cost you more in the long run (usually), and especially BSAs, IMO. But hey, let us know if it holds up - I'm all for learning something new.
