Weaver V8

I recently came across an old WEAVER V8 scope, this is the one that does not have internal adjustments, the adjusting is done externally, I mounted it on a 22 HORNET, and with my bore sighter I was able to make adjustments.
My question is does anyone have any experience with this scope, does it hold zero?
