I saw a CZ today. It was the Redhead in 28 gauge. Tiny little thing. But very nice looking. They look like they are well made for the price range.
Has any one heard anything about these guns?

CZ bought the rights from Armsco to put their names on the Huglu shotguns. I have a SxS .410 Huglu that is very well made but the trigger is awful. I have put about 400 shells through it since Febuary. Tight chokes but a good shooter.

One of my shooting buddies bought a CZ in 28 guage the other day.. nice little gun, especially for the price. It looked pretty well finished, but, of course not perfect. The wood/metal fit, though pretty good was not as good as it could have been,, but then, look at the price. All in all, I would buy one, as a matter of fact I am fairly sure I will as soon as the dealer gets some more in. He sold every one he had in a couple of days.

Buy 'em and shoot 'em.....please!
I handled one last week. Nice gun but stiff, it needed some TLC and shootin. Can't comment on the trigger as I did not try it.

When you have a 9# trigger on a 5.6 # gun it is a lot to overcome. No smiths around my area would touch it for "liability reasons" I've got it smoothed out a bit and it may be down to about 7.5 #'s, I shot some diamond paste into the sears to work them a bit. When I get it down to half way acceptable I'll clean everything out of the trigger sears and grease them good.

I see how that could be a problem. Let me know how it works out.

One of the magaznes that I get just gave the redhead a "best buy" title. They were very impressed.
