Anyone have either of these IWB holsters?
How about a review?

Where it will fade away for lack of interest.
I think a question about a handgun holster is related enough to "handguns and pistolcraft" to have been left where it was.

I have and use the Alessi Talon every day.
It is a supurb peice of work, good looking, comfortable and concealable. Also very affordable, what else is there for a holster to do?

I've had a Talon Plus for my G 26 for a year or so and use it every day. The plastic clip design is much better than others I have tried. I have never had the handgun come out of the holster or the holster come off my pants or sweats(I don't wear belts). Once broken in my Glock was easy to draw. Lou Alessi is a very fine holster maker and his prices are reasonable. I also use his ankle holster about half a day everyday. MWT

I have a pair of Talon Plus holsters. One for my Taurus 85 Ultralight and one for my Colt 1991A1 Compact. The Talon Plus for the Colt is one that I had Lou make up special for me so that it sits about 3/4" to 1" lower than normal.

They are among the best holsters available!

Lou makes a great holster. The neat thing about the Talon clip is that you can wear the holster without a belt and not worry about drawing your holster with the gun.

Is there a web site for Alessi Holsters? I could not find one.

R & F Hunting (http://www.rfholsters.com/rfholsters/) has some good prices on Alessi's and others.

Here's another thumbs-up for the Talon Plus. It's really quality leather work and the clip is very secure.

Another affirmative for the Talon Plus. I use it for my Kimber Classic. Very slim, but sturdy leather. I have some great belt holsters, but this one gets used most often. Not the easiest one to attach and detach, but very secure should you need it. IWBs were off my list until this one. Two thumbs up.

Thank you all for the input. I ordered a Talon Plus today. I can't wait to check it out.

Allen - I trust you now see why it was best to put this thread here. If I had left it in Handguns, it would have sunk about 8 ft. below the ground in no time, never to be seen by the many members who look in here. :)

Alessi Talons are among the best IWB holsters in my opinion. I have carried a Colt Detective Special or a S&W, M19/66 Combat Magnum in one for several years. When I bought a Glock 17 last fall I ordered a Talon for it. Ditto a Glock 19 last month. They are well made, comfortable, and affordable.
You can't go wrong with Alessi Talons.

Yes, Mal, I see that it was for the best. I did not realise that there were so many gear heads here.
