I don't see myself entering any actual tactical situations, but I like the style. I'm thinking something along the pricelines of the UTG setups, but I want a snapping thumb break, not the crappy squeeze clip they have. What have you seen?

Yes, like that with a similar thumb break. But again, I'm thinking of something in the UTG price range.

That's only like 5X more than I want to spend.

Blackhawk is too exspensive? They're going for 50% off right now...like $35 bucks. If you want a holster that costs less than $35 bucks, I'd find myself questioning the quality of the product. Just MHO.

I ithought Specter's looked great, but I don;t want to lay down 65 bucks for it.

The "industry" standard is the 6004 from Safariland. If you are considering a soft, non-rigid holster, the Eagle holsters are very good and I've good experience with all the gear I've bought from both SpecterGear, SO Tech and Tactical Tailor. I can't say the same for another very large company whos products are sewn off-shore.

Well, I'm definitly not in the "industry" and I don't want to spend 100 dollars on this. It sure does look great, though.
