Even though it's a fake finish, I find myself badly wanting one of the Berettas beauts - specifically, the 3901 American, "Ambassador" finish:

It's the top one of the 3 shotguns in that picture. Also,

Click on the pic there for a blown-up pic of it.

Hmm, but 12 or 20, that's the question, for upland birds up to pheasant-sized?

WHy is this $300 cheaper than the Ulrika?

the finish is what beretta calls "x-tra wood." I have looked at a few berettas with this finish and it honestly does't looke that bad, though I never had one out in the sunlight. I have looked at this gun next to the statesman and think the statesman is a much better looking gun.

wacki,
this gun is based on the al390, the urika is based on the newer 391.

I also want to know that - what's makes the urika (sp?) special/better than this one? OK, it's the 391, not the 390, so that means exactly what? Thanks.

I just allways wanted my semi to be a 20 ga. Your choice but that should be plenty for any birds, hell maybe even nab a ostrich.:D
