If I could afford a semi auto it's probably the one I'd get.

Wow! Funny you should say literally I just returned fromt here right this instance! : D Great videos. Hows it for rust though. Mu shotgun is good with reliability and speed, but its made of bad metal, and is VERY hard to clean....

I think in one of those videos they throw it in a slough for 30 some hours then take it out and shoot away.

Hi Mate, this is my first post so I hope it helps.

I have an xtrema2 in black with KO and all I can say is it's fantastic!. I use it for everything, clays, birds or beasts and it performs faultlessly with anything i put down it (7/8oz, 1oz, 1 1/8oz, etc right up to 3 1/2" magnums no problem)

As I say the gun is excellent, but there are some minor 'niggles' (for me at least).

DON'T lose any of the five chokes supplied, I lost 1/4 choke which is the one I was using most and in Britain it is over £50 (around $100) to replace!!

LOP is a little short for me and Beretta UK do not import the spacer to lenthen pull even though it's listed on the parts list.
I'm currently trying to find someone in the US who will send me this part and some others that I want (not least of all a new 1/4 choke which is MUCH cheaper in the US. I will pay up front, just need someone to take delivery and send on to me in the UK) :D

Lastly I would comment on the synth stock. It is very good not to have to worry about getting it wet but I have marked it quite a lot by accidently rubbing it against the buckle of my ammo belt when carrying the gun. Because its plastic it gets 'scars' (can't think of a better word) which I have no idea how to remove or repair. I suppose the only up side is that bare plastic stocks seem very cheap (around $80) if I can find someone who will post to UK

Thats about it, I could carry on about the crisp trigger or the slimmed down fore end or the anti corrosion coating or the K/O system or the straight shooting etc. but it all been written about elsewhere and for me, it all works and therefore should not need comment.

I have been shooting for nearly fifteen years and have been lucky to shoot quite a few shotguns, semi's, O/U's and sbs and I can seriously say that for what I want, ie a do anything, honest, reliable, robust gun, I wouldn't change my xtrema2

Just my thoughts, I hope it helps
Cheers

My uncle has one that I've shot a bit. His has the KO recoil reducer. Fairly soft kick, and super reliable with all sorts of shells. Good shotgun.
