870 express magnum mag ext.

I am looking for a magazine extension for a 870 express magnum with a 20" Imp cyl barrel. Does one exist? and could someone please tell me where I could order one. thanks alot.

Ebay MAY have them (but paypal and ebay are closing accounts on gun related matters so buyer beware), I would stick with a quality one, on a 20" barrel you can go with a 3 shot extension. Factory ones are pricey but I concider them the best. You can look at tanks extensions. Good design, nice and strong. There are other, tacstar, ATI, ect, everyone will have differnt opnions on the quality. I say tanks or factory.

For a 20" barreled gun, you'll need a three shot extension.
The top extensions made for the 20" guns are:

The Remington factory model. These are expensive ($80 to $100. or so) and a little hard to get.

Choate makes the "best buy". It comes in blue-black or parkerized finishes, and comes as a complete kit, including a heavy-duty follower, and the all-important barrel clamp.

Tac-Star makes one, but it doesn't come with the clamp or a better follower, and Tac-Star does have some history of quality problems:

As far as I know, no one else (Wilson, Tank's, Vang) make a three shot extension.

About 1/4 way down, there is a drop down window to choose 7 or 8 shot, you will want the 8 (http://www.tanksrifleshop.com/remshotgun.htm)

They just are not as common, that why no one remembers them.
