Anyone have an opinion as regards the Remington 1100 vs. the Beretta 3901?

Both mighty fine guns. The Remington has a small edge with me. Parts are cheaper and easier to find. Other than that, I wouldn't turn around for the difference. Just figure out which feels the best and buy it. Maybe that it will never need parts. The average shhoter that shoots a flst or two of loads a year will probably need repairs if the gun is cleaned regularly. If you shoot a case or two a month, after 10-15k loads most semiautos will need some parts. Therefore, just IMO, the Remington is my pick. Parts for Berettas are pretty expensive and sometimes hard to find and takes a bit of extra time for delivery. Gunsmiths usually have Remington parts in stock.
