Aside from some trouble with my shotgun over the weekend, I really enjoyed it. It was very satisfying to shoot 2 liter soda bottles & never miss. Plus the recoil was a lot less than expected even though it was a 12 gauge.
It got me to wanting a evil-black-shotgun. Is there such a thing? I remember there was a youtube clip about a fully automatic shotgun but that isn't a real possibility at this point.:D

Hi, that M-4 shotgun sure does look like the Franchi LAW12. Didn't Benelli take over the Franchi shotgun lines? I have one of the LAW12 guns, it is so sweet to shoot, and easy to carry. It is very light weight, but even with full-house loads, the recoil is still very light. The LAW12 uses the same pistol grip, top folding stock with the hook as the SPAS12. Also the ATIS PM2, or the Valtro PM5 are also a couple of nice ones, I have one of each, they use the same 12ga magazine, and with a couple of mags, you have an extreme amount of firepower. I had a Franchi SPAS12, but it was just too heavy to lug around, so I traded it for a pre-ban Colt-M4 Tactical Carbine, the little shorty one. Good luck on your hunt for your EBS!

The Benelli's are fantastic shotguns, but for the price, you could buy three of the Mossberg's!!!:D

Smitty, how much did that Mossberg set you back? Looks nice.
FirstFreedom, What gauge is that? I've heard Saiga makes a .410 & 20 gauge but 12 is what I'm looking for. How much did that Saiga cost, if you don't mind my asking?

I paid $575, out the door for mine....I wanthe to be "the first kid on the block", so I wound up paying a little more than if I had waited.
Dick's Sporting Goods has them for $550.
If you don't mind buying on-line, this place has them for $494.21!!:

They are great guns, very reliable, easy to clean, and will eat any ammo you put in them, even the "low-recoil" stuff....

I *knew* someone would show up with a Saiga. doesn't get much more EBS than that! Maybe a drum magazine? :D
BTW what's the barrel length on those? The clays range near me has a 26" minimum.
