Are you saying you'd like to replace the factory black plastic inserts with the wood type which the GP100 series pistols come with?

Numrich gun parts has the wood inserts in stock for around 15 bucks. I got a pair that showed a nice grain with a little work.

I have a set on my GP100. Reasonable in price, quaility workmanship, and I would say a large selection. Here is the link,

I am going to bead blast the frame, barrel, and cylinder to obtain a satin finish and polish to a mirror finish the hammer, trigger and flutes on the cylinder. Had to get rid of the warning and Ruger GP100 off the barrel.

...and it has never been more comfortable to shoot.

I used the Eagle Secret Service models.
