i am searching for a repeating(autoloader)) shot gun with following features.

1. reliable

2. light weight(as much possible)

3. compact size(as much possible)

i want a shot gun for self defense , as i travel a lot on highways etc and in suburban and rural areas. The threat varies from small time criminals to big time hard core gangs.

anyways, there is high probability that i might have to use it , while seated in my car.
please advise ...

Check out Mossburg 930 and 935.
Remington 11-87 or 1100.
Benelli also has a auto.

Sitting in car calls for a pistol.
When you step out you will want a shotgun or rifle.
Anything past 60 meters and I want a rifle.

Agree with Mr Carver. It sounds like an unusual scenario, but a Remmy 87o would be a good choice. IF you are a left hander, Mossy 590.

The safety lever is on top of the receiver thus it is just as easy to operate with either hand. I also prefer the slide release lever location on the 500 as it is in a natural spot to allow me to manipulate it with out moving either hand from my ready fire grip.
