Thanks Hoy! Looks like good stuff, but they're backed up 20-26 weeks! Yikes! I'm impatient :o

All the good holster makers are backed up pretty good but If you're impatient check out HighNoon Holtsers. They do really good work and have a decent line that they keep on stock.

I'm still waiting on my VMII - I actually forgot I have one on order until I read this thread!:o
In the meantime though, I've been supremely pleased with the Crossbreed Supertuck Deluxe (http://www.crossbreedholsters.com/beltslide.html). I think this is the umpteenth post in which I've recommended them. They're pretty inexpensive and I got one of them in less than two weeks and the other one in about 5 days.
But they use leather for the body shield and kydex for the holster, so if you want all leather, it's not for you...

+1 on the Crossbreed SuperTuck.
I ordered mine recently, they told me two weeks, it showed up 11 days later.
Very comfortable, very secure.
Two week trial period for full refund, lifetime warranty for defects.

I checked out the Supertuck, there appears no way to designate what model of gun it will be for?

I would say "RTFM" (or in this case, RTFP), but I won't be that guy... :D
Go here (http://www.crossbreedholsters.com/contact_us.html) and scroll down to see if the SuperTuck is available for your pistol. If it is, order it and in the comments box on the checkout page, tell them what your pistol is.

Another good recommendation for the Crossbreed Supertuck. It is my EDC for my Sig 239, and it is very comfortable and adjustable. The 2 week trial is a good feature also, although I liked mine enough to not send it back. I purchased one of their belts, and I like that as well.

RE: the point made about not being able to specify your particular gun when ordering a CrossBreed holster. . .
You are supposed to enter the particulars of your gun, side of carry, color preference, etc. in the comment field on the order form at 'check-out'.
I just bought a CrossBreed for my P-232 and it was shipped the day after I placed the order. Too bad my PO didn't put a yellow card in my box for almost TWO WEEKS! Grump!
The SuperTuck is a wicked neat holster for CC, very comfortable.
Have a day. Bang Gunley

I have a Minotaur Spartan Holster for my M&P 9 and love it. Hard to beat at $64.

Not with an M&P, but I've carried FIST kydex holsters, and holsters by K&D and High Noon. All were great holsters.

You might want to look at D.M.Bullard. I have one of the Dual Carry holsters for my subcompact XD40 and absolutely love it. My holster arrived barely a week after ordering and set me back $70.

I own a VM2 (not for the M&P) and a Comp-Tac MTAC. Both are great holsters but my current favorites are Custom Carry Concepts (http://www.shop.customcarryconcepts.com/category.sc?categoryId=3)' Adjustable Cant followed by their Quick Cover.
