i finally got one! found it at the dayton ohio gun show, from another individual, not a dealer. was the hookfolder. has a few marks on it but nothing major, or that affects the performance. i was gonna shoot it anyways so i didnt really care. i think its pretty sweet. i like it. huge mag capacity and looks intimidating. one of my coolest buys so far. it wouldnt function in auto mode at first and i thought i got slighted but it was the weak shells i was using. i bought some $7.49 for 25 shells of winchester AA's and blam! functions perfectly in auto mode. i think i got a B.A. gun!

Make sure the receiver buffer is replaced or intact. These frequently broke from what I read fell out. The result as I understand it is the bolt slamming into the receiver/frame and causing damage.

you may want to do a google on the recalled SPAS-12 safety. Make sure your shotgun is safe.
