I thought i had fixed my magazine tube after i removed that wire some bonehead had gotten lodged in the spring of my 500 but no such luck. went through about 75 rds and the spring started jamming again. i got fed up with taking the barrel off and pushing a dowel down the tube to free up the spring so i tried to take off the entire tube. and again no luck. that damn thing is on there so tight. my buddy unscrews his by hand. i tried pipe straps, vises and all sorts of other oddball tools but it wont budge. im pretty sure the factory puts lock-tight on there or something. i see it as being kind of pointless to make this thing sooo damn tight you can get it off. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get it off?

i dont know if i like the idea of heating with a torch. heating aluminum and then twisting? could be a recipe for disaster...but if theres no other way ill give it a try
