Made in Italy?

whats the deal with all the magazines manufactured in italy? I was looking at some of my magazines, a couple of smith and wesson, a kel tec and a beretta (that one makes sense I guess)all say made in italy, and mentioned it to my buddy and he looked at the mag in his sig and walther (p99 so I guess it makes sense being that it is almost the same gun as my sw99) and they say italy too.
why is italy making all the magazines?

Because Mec-Gar is in Italy, and they make super-awesome magazines for everyone.

A lot of gun manufacturers have Mec-Gar make their magazines for them. They have an excellent reputation for making good quality magazines. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one of their magazines.
