New wheel-gun!

Bought a S/W .357 M66 for $350 - It's actually my wife's ...we'll shoot it tomorrow. She still wants a .44mag :)

WELL... Nice to have a wife that actually wants a gun. .44 mag, though... Either you are lucky enough to have a hunter for a wife or if you're in an apartment or urban setting she doesn't mind taking out the neighbors along with the Bad Guys. ;)

My wife surprised the heck out of me when she insisted on using the hot .357 magnum loads along with .38 spl when she brought her friend (previous non-shooter) and friend's father to the range Sunday. She hasn't shot for 2 years.

By the way, both did VERY well. The friend's father (an ex-Marine with Master Marksman rating) said he didn't want to play with them any more--too embarassing. I wish they had been there later in the day to show up a couple of smug baggie pant types.

The 66 is a fine pistol.... What size barrel did youu get??

The m66 is an excellent choice. Fond memories of mine as it was my 1st .357Magnum.

It's a four inch barrel.
