Right now I just have those black targets that show bright yellow on impact so it's easier to see where the round went so i can better monitor my shooting and make adjustments.

Could've posted this on your thread, but...
I suggest you stop using those Shoot-N-C's, at least for now. You're doing exactly what you shouldn't be doing, and those Shoot-N-C's are enforcing a bad habit - namely peeking at the target between shots. It's a real accuracy killer. Just take a deep breath, obtain a good sight picture, focus on the front sight, and carefully take
all your shots
without adjusting your grip or taking your concentration off the front sight. It's tough to do.

1 start at the 7 yard line with a plain piece of poster board for the target.
First, draw a horizontal line with a Sharpe and a yard stick.
Practice, practice, practice trying to hit the horizonal line.
When that is accomplished, put up a new white poster board and draw a vertical line.
Practice, practice, practice trying to hit the vertical line.
When that is accomplished, put up a new poster board, and draw a horizontal line, and a vertical line and shoot at where the lines cross!
Just about guarantee it will lead to better marksmanship

It's not just a technique for new shooters - the great Bill Blankenship used this technique too, and it helped him diagnose and reduce wobble.
