The mags are the 15 round clips that came with the Glock 19.

This is a "CLIP"
This is a MAGAZINE
and dont worry, I do this to everyone. Its a pet peeve.
Now to your actual problem. You don't need to lube glock magazines. Lube can actually degade the primer and cause a "click, no boom" if you will. I have several glocks and have never lubed a mag in my life and I have tens of thousands of rounds through my glocks. If this is a NIB G19 you may just need some more wear in on your mags. Sometimes their a little tight when brandy new. Either that or your limp wristing. However based on the fact that you said it was only the first round out of the mag I'm thinking thats not the case. One thing you can try is sit at home when you watching TV or just plain bored and load and stip the mags over and over to wear them in a little. If you continue to have this problem contact Glock or talk to your neighbor hood gunsmith or knowlegeable gun store worker. I'm sure your problem won't last.
