Ive been there, 3 years ago i lost 9mms of my trigger finger in a CAMDEX loading press. I was unable to use my finger for a month and couldnt shoot with it fo about 3 months. i decided to switch hands and exclusivly use a revolver, double action all the time, i trained my left eye and now im completely ambidextrious. I guess it was a blessing in disguise. learn lefty, it sucks for awhile but in the long run its almost better, becuase you dont have to teach that side all your bad habits.
ps, if you try the righty thing with the middle finger, make sure your index is not next to your ejection port.
