I would love for them to come out with a .41spl. I want a big bore non-magnum revolver for home defense (I'm in an apartment so high velocity rounds are out due to overpenetration issues, so I want big and slow for maximum stopping potential). While I think .44spl is underappreciated, and I'd probably get one if a K-frame-ish sized revolver was still made in it (or .45LC), I'd prefer a .41spl. I have a .41mag so I'd have the flexibility to shoot it in either gun. I love my .41mag, it seems to be about the "sweet spot" for me in magnum revolvers (nothing against my .357mags, but I just LOVE that .41) and it may do the same in non-magnum. The size gives good sectional density v. the larger caliber. It would also be cool to have something that is just a little different. However, I doubt it would sell.
