I agree with TheBluesMan.
In the first place, the man is right...we've all been there. Yeah, it was dumb and reckless, but I don't think it was so awful that he should lose such an important right. We can punish him enough without it to ensure that he thinks twice the next time.
And it's true, no one did get hurt.
