Fitting Harris Bypod

G'day. Kaizer & Adventurer 2.
I was a little surprised to find out that for the last 13 years my Harris bi-pod should not be on my Ruger.
I have the same as in the photo above. Before I fired my first shot, I did a little personalising of my own. Number one was to fit the bi-pod.
1, Fit lug in fore grip for attaching bi-pod.
2, Ensure barrel was fully floating.
3, Reduce trigger spring pressure.
4, Reduce trigger pull.
All these changes were very easy to achieve with virtually no extra cost. I had to purchase the Q/R lug, and the spring came from an old 'ball point pen'. You must take care when drilling the stock as it is similar to drilling brass & perspex. ( The drill will want to grab and pull itself through. ) This nearly caused me some dramas trying to drill a hole for a self locking nut that the lug screws into.
If you want more detals just ask and I will post them.
