I know this thread is over 60 days old. However, this information may be useful to someone.

I found one here for $169.00

I am surprised that Choate didn't supply the longer action screws. When I purchased my Ultimate Varmint Stock it came with replacement front/rear screws.

Hopefully they will come out with the left-hand version soon for the Savage Short Action. I am in the process of selling my Ultimate Varmint stock to fund the Tactical Stock.
