I acquired a Swede Mauser carbine, that had been sporterized by a gunsmith last year. I just love this caliber. Had it checked over by my gunsmith and started shooting it last summer. Since I no longer reload, factory ammo is pretty expensive these days as you all know. I just purchased some Pri Partisan ammo for $13.00 box online for practice ammo, and would like to know of others' experience with this ammo. Has anyone used this 139gr SP stuff for deer hunting? Last season I took a nice doe with the PMC Silverline stuff at only 50yds with a bang flop. PMC was the only stuff available at the gunshop I frequent, and Walmart didn't carry anything at all. Are there any other brands besides the Privi Partisan that I should be looking at for economy but decent ammo? Thanks in advance.
