From what I've read over on the other forum, the rust issue has been really hit-or-miss; there doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to it. Some guns in a particular area get it and some don't. It could just boil down to the toxicity of a person's sweat, how well the gun is maintained, or other factors. I've got the 45 ACP and love it; it's been nothing but reliable, and with the new finish and proper care, no issues with that either.
