Yup. My gunsmith took a lathe to 26 rounds of .45 Colt brass with the following result:
Rcoil is mild, ejection is soft and slightly forward (which is good for recovering the precious brass,) and accuracy is quite tolerable, given the somewhat generous windage afforded by the .451" projectiles. (Insert plug for Shannon Jennings, genius gunsmith at CCA; it took a
lot of tinkering to get this baby up and running from the box-o'-gun it started as, and to get the brass just right.)
