I'm a nut with the gun cleaning supplies so I have the spray can, the squeeze can, and the oiler size! The guy at the local gun shop always says, "boy you sure do like that Eezox stuff".

I use the spray all over the gun and make sure its all wet. They I run a wet patch through to soak the barrel, and let it sit for 20 to 30 mins. Its still wet then as the carrier evaporates but the oil is still there. I then wipe it dry with a Flita cloth and clean the barrel with dry patch's. The only non-Eezox stuff I use is when I get the guns home from the range I spray them off inside and out with GunScrubber or equivalent, gets any powder or residue off quickly.
