Where are you fining 'good' parts and pieces to build a complete rifle for less than $570? I've heard nothing but good from the JTD kits, but the cheapest one is $479+ lower. Other than that it would be about $600-$650 using the cheapest sources I know of, and even then that's counting the LE discount at Brownell's, etc.
I have owned a CMMG and I know others who do also, all have been good shooters. Those bargain bin guns may be one of the best ways around to get into the AR game.
