I bought one of the $625 rifles back in Dec. at the recommendation
of a friend heavy on the AR-15.com forum. The write up on these is they are all new parts with some exterior dings.... I could not find a ding anywhere on mine and it seems to shoot okay... I did get 1.5" groups at 100 yards with some Ultramax ammo and am still working on finding the right sweet rounds.
How you buy one.... first you find a local gun dealer (FFL) that accepts transfers from other FFL's... and find out how much they will charge to do the paper work for you (usually $25-50) then you call up CMMG and tell them what you want and give them your credit card # and such.... then you have your local FFL fax CMMG a copy of their License.... in about 3 days you go to your FFL, fill out the goverment form, pay them a fee and take your rifle home....
This is assume the rifle is legal in your state and you won't have a problem buying a gun and passing any background checks that might be needed.
