Indeed. If the report is accurate, that he had "an unknown object" and tried to "pull him from his car" then I think this one is a slam dunk for being justified.
Why he ever let the guy get close enough to break his window is another question, and may have been poor judgement, but it wouldn't make the shooting unjustified.
