I will have to give it a try on a warm day. I only have a 6" 686. Is it a requirement that we use wadcutters? I only have full power 158gr. and 180gr. handloads made up right now and have no wadcutters on hand. My 180gr. cast bullets punch nice near wadcutter holes I might use those.
