I own one in .45ACP. Will sometimes FTFeed for first 100-200 rounds. Shoots low with 230gr FMJ ammo. Does not like Sellier & Bellot hard primer ammo. Not a comfortable HAND gun to shoot, so you might want to test fire before buying.
Has that goofy security lock!
Unless the friend is willing to sell that Taurus cheap, I would suggest spending a few hundred $$$ more for a Glock model 30 or model 36.
