My son came home on leave from the Air Force yesterday. While he was unpacking he called me to his room to show me his new 605 stainless Taurus. It looked and felt like a nice useable gun. I was leery of shooting it with .357 mag ammo because of it's small size and 2 inch barrel. We took it to our range last evening just before dark and he and I shot it for the first time. It shot great. Not a target gun by any means but that is not what he bought it for. It did have a little bit of bite but was very controlable and fun to shoot. And at dusk the foot and a half of flame from the muzzle was impressive.
Our first impression was very positive. Reasonable priced and fun to shoot.
I have owned a full sized Taurus .357 for years with out any problems. I would not hesitate to buy another. Jim
