hey i like taurus, the 605 i had shot as good as the sp101 i have now. just at the time when the 85 was got and it wasn't so good, it kinda got be down on taurus thats why i traded the 605 too. if i had it to do over i would still take the 85 back cause it was bad, but i would have kept the 605 it was a good gun. the 66 i checked at the store the other day looked great and worked great lockup was tight and it cycled perfect. it just seemed a little high compared to the ruger, besides i forgot to mention the taurus was blued. i ask the owner what a taurus stainless would cost he said about $460.00 but he's not for sure because the are out of stock right now. like i said i beleive they are good and bad in all brands, i've had friends to have trouble with ruger handguns. i would still buy taurus if i could find a good deal, i just don't want to pay for a taurus for what i can get a ruger for. a blue gp100 i just bought a few weeks ago only ran me $455.00 +tax.
