Taurus? Yeah, I've shot a few...

Years back, shot a Taurus 92. Range rental gun, with laser mounted on it. Ran a couple hundred rounds of cheap, range-special reloads through it. No malfunctions. Shot to point-of-aim, sub 2" groups at 25 to 50 feet offhand with both laser and iron sights. Big gun, easy to shoot in 9mm.

Owned a Taurus 605 stainless. Real nice looking little gun. Shot fine - no malfunctions with several hundred rounds through it. Trigger pull a little heavy and somewhat gritty. Shot to point-of-aim, 3" group average at 25 feet offhand (for me). Slightly more difficult to shoot fast and accurately with full-house .357 loads. Carried easily. Traded it for a Glock 27 - similar size, but with 10 rounds of .40 cal instead of 5 rounds of .357.

Own a Taurus model 85UL blued. Comfortable grip, shoots to point-of-aim and groups at 2 - 3 inches at 25 feet. Several hundred rounds through it, various brands of ammo with no malfunctions. Trigger pull was a little rough, polished internals and installed a Wolff spring kit - now has terrific, smooth, light pull. No light primer strikes.

Had a Taurus model 94. Nice size, comfortable grips. Shot to point-of-aim at 25 to 50 feet, 2" to 3" groups, but with frequent cylinder lock-up. Very difficult to eject brass - ejector kept binding. Trigger was rough and very heavy. Tried another model 94 - range rental gun - similar results.

Overall, not bad guns for the most part, but would most likely choose another brand if the price point was similar.

Taurus 605 or Ruger SP101?

Sp101.

Taurus 85 or Ruger LCR

LCR.

Taurus PT92 or Beretta?

PT92 (most likely to be significantly cheaper)

Taurus 94 or... anything else...

anything else.
