Not everybody is a great writer or is as well versed in "gun board proceedure" as you may be. Maybe all he wanted to say is that his son bought a new gun and he is happy with it. Last time I checked that's allowed. My impression is that the OP came out here to state that he is happy with a new purchase not to submit an article to Guns and Ammo. What he wrote is fine by me as a simple first impression. Maybe he'll be kind enough to share more with us after he wrings it out better, despite the criticism.
