Well, I didn't actually measure them. I didn't have to. There were visible signs of potential case head seperation. The brass was unuseable after being fired in the Quest.
Kind of a shame really, because I liked the rifle. Was hoping to use it as a scout platform. I agree that blueing or parkerizing would be much better. Glad you got a good one though.
It all worked out for me in the end...I was able to fide a Savage Scout in 7mm-08 for only $75 more than the Quest.
