Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they are not out to get you.


There isn't much you can do to hurt your 870. Just follow the instructions. The only thing I can think of that might cause some damage is to pull the trigger with the bolt forward and the barrel removed. On some guns the hammer can slip behind the ejector. If you don't notice it, you might bend or break the ejector when you try to pull the slide back.
