I almost always check the trigger assembly, but then I'm a bit anal about the possibility of rust. Plus, it never hurts to know your gun.

About the only tedious procedure I can think of is if you decide to put on an old style safety. That little spring above the safety can go flying--which requires an extensive spring hunt down on your hands and knees.

If you're happy with the PC locking safety, then no worries.
