I'm in the process of putting together a 45 Long Colt rifle on a T/C Encore action. The barrel is 17" long and it will eventually be suppressed. I'm planning on using Hornady 300 gr. JHP bullets with Trail Boss powder and would like to keep velocities under 1100 fps. Has anyone had experience with this combination? Thanks in advance.
