I also had some factory Remington 150 gr Core Loke and they clocked 2625 fps.
I have been working with Varget and 150 gr Hornady bullets and having mixed results. However I am having to use cases made from 308 Winchester. So far I am getting hard extraction at 40 gr. of Varget with about 2500 fps.
I really need to shoot up some of my factory ammo and try loading with real 300 Savage cases.
