I was going to own at least an auto and revolver from each of the major manufacturers. Then I found a few of them I didn't like to shoot and sold them. I suppose the only real theme that I've put any effort into was collecting revolvers with a vented rib, in either nickel or stainless. After buying 6 (Colt, Dan Wesson, Taurus) of them, I bored of that.
My theme now is fairly simply, If I go several months without shooting one of my guns, then it must be because I don't enjoy shooting it.
I also like full sized pistols, long slide if available, and 6-8" barrel on a revolver.
I like .357's and .45ACP's, nickel or stainless, long barreled, accurate, handle well, good trigger & actions, and enjoyable to shoot, there's 'ya theme...........................ck
