all together, not a really good idea. Even at close range, you need to aim for shot placement. No matter how powerful a gun is, hitting a hog in a non vital place will NOT put them down. I sometimes hunt with a Winchester Model 70 in .458 Win Mag. It is not a magic bullet, and has, at times, failed to anchor a hog with a single shot.
I agree with yorec here, a quick follow up shot with your primary weapon is a better idea.
