The guns seen new after 1968 were made here, or at least the frames were.
I used to carry a Cub in .22 Short. Someone asked me what I would do if I really had to use it on an attacker.
I replied that the gun was accurate, and I would put a bullet over each eye.
The fellow asked if that was a weak point where the bullet would penetrate.
I answered no, but the blood would run into his eyes and blind him and I would throw the gun at him and run like hell.
