It's your money, but if you want the best defensive pump, it's an 870 Police Model.
If you get the PMax, you'll probably want to replace the Remington barrel clamp, it positions a sling directly in front of the under-barrel light. There are other side-mount sling swivel mag clamps that work better. Otherwise, without a light, the Remington clamp is fine.
