-1 Mike B. of Arizona/Turrican

I bought a NEW Yugo M92 kit from Mike B.(mikeb...)/AR15.com, AK forum handle Turrican. Before buying the kit, I asked him in an email exchange if this was the EXACTLY THE SAME KIT THAT Gunthings.com was selling

Here are the verbatim email exchange:

That is the exact same kit I am selling and mine is still just as NEW for
35.00 less and I am paying shipping. Which makes it about 50.00 less. I
bought it from them.

After I received the kit, I noticed that the kit was missing NEW magazine unlike the way I described Gunthings.com M92 kit. When I emailed and asked Mike about this, here is the first email reply I got in a series of nasty reply I got from him:

You can do that if you want. I was selling a kit. That is all. I didnt say
it came with a mag. You have no right to demand a mag. Not all kits have
mags all the time. What are you going to say you want ammo with it to? I
didnt get a mag. Sorry. If I had a mag I would give it to you. They are only
12.00.

I dont care. I have plenty of friends and good feedback on every
board. if i promised you a mag you would have a point but I didnt say I was
including a mag. What they do at gunthings has nothing to do with what I do.
So go ahead and start a flame war and I will start one on you too and we
will let the guys on the board decide who is right. I didnt include a sling
either and some dealers include those too. I advertised a virgin kit. That
is all and that is what you got. You even sent an email saying you were
happy with the deal now you are trying to make me lose even more money.

You cant come back and start bitching about wanting more things that I wasnt offering in my sale. If you wanted a mag you should have asked for one and I would have told you I didnt have one with it. All of my Yugo mags are used.

I dont respond to threats. So I wont offer you anything now. Good luck
trying to make me look bad. It is not fair for you to try and get more out
of me now. I wasnt offering mags with the deal. Why you expect one just
because someone else is offering one and charging more is beyond me. I sent
it priority just like we agreeed. I did everything that we agreed on.

If you wanted to pay 50.00 more to get a 12.00 mag you should have bought it from them. You got a good deal on a brand new kit that I had to you two days after you paid. I will be sure to post these emails in you negative threads about me to show how shady you are acting.

If you post my family's info you will be sorry. I have children that live
her andn you are endangering there safety.

I have sent your threatening
letter to the mods and they have said you are in the wrong. I also showed
them your email showing where you said you were happy with the kit. Now you
decide you want more after the fact. Dont forget, I have all your ino too.

I have a higher feedback rating then you. Why not just go buy a mag if that
is what you really want. I think you have other reasons for this besides the
12.00 mag you are complaining about.

I have sent your emails to two of my
friends and they agree you are trying to extort more from me. If you read
the add it says nothing about a mag. If I had a new mag I would give it to
you just to shut you up but I dont so there is nothing I can do. I think you
just changed your mind about the kit and now you are trying to weasel out of
the deal and blame it on me over one little mag. I thought you were a cool
guy from our emails but I guess you are not after all.

The gist of the email exchanges is that in the email exchange, I was assured that Mike was selling the SAME KIT THAT GUNTHINGS.COM WAS SELLING. After I get the kit, I'm told that's not the case and I'M A EXTORTIONIST among other things Mr. B. states in his series of email to me.

He also personally MADE THREATS AGAINST ME. The email from Mr. Mike B. just keeps on getting nastier and nastier.

Not to make a long story longer but seeing your e-mails that prompted such responses would go a long way towards making your case 100% as seeing a relply in absence of the stateemtns that generated it makes it hard to judge compleatly.

In other words who started the posting family informtation stuff? Sorry the way this reads (without your e-mails) it reads as if you promted this by going down that road, and frankly that makes his positon more understandable for you have a relitivly moderate to minor gripe, and there is no nead to drag his family into it. NO judgement, just letting you knwo how it reads.

Hello guys, sorry such a lame first post. I have had to join a lot of new boards to try and clear my name due to the actions of this person. This looks like a cool site the and I will definately be around more. I post on lots of other boards under the same name and I do a lot of trading with lots of great deals for both sides. Please let me explain my side.

First of all here is what happened.
1.I NEVER adopted the add from gunthings as my add. I had an add for a kit that is all. He put up that description himself. I never advertised a mag. I was trying to illustrate what this type of AK is to someone who is obviously very ignorant with regards to them. I never offered a mag. I DONT EVEN HAVE A NEW MAG!

2. He asked what it was and I told him it was the same as the one gunthings was selling. Meaning an M92.

3. I ship it to him priority the next day. "When I get home that day he sends me an email saying what is demilled and what is virgin.?" I explain the difference and he realizes he cant put it together.

4. An hour later I see an add on SAIGA12.com from him selling the kit for 30.00 more then I sold it to him for. Mind you he is not even in possession of this kit yet. Since it is still in the mail he rips off the description and the picture from the gunthings website and advertises it using all THEIR info which I have let them know about. Because the picture in HIS add and HIS description shows a mag he now needs to provide a mag. So he decdides to threaten to flame me on "every gun board" if I dont give him one.

5.He threatens me and says he will post my address all over the internet if he doesnt get his way.

6. At this point I tell him to do his worst because I dont care at this point. Its not about the mag it is the principal of it now.

If he would have been a man about it and said he couldnt build a VIRGIN kit, I would have given him back his money. I could easily resell it as I had lots of emails about it after I sold it to him. If I thought he was truly sorry I would give him some leads to help sell it. But I dont like internet cowards like him. He said he would ruin me on the boards and he would "let the people decide" Well, they have and the truth is known. Now I have to go and sign up on every gunboard he flamed me on and tell my side of the story. It wasnt even advertised on all these other boards but this is his way of trying to force me to give him a mag.

As far as the missing emails here is one of his between what he posted from me #1 and #2. He only posted my responses, not his threats.
I will publish your handle, full name, and address, and
the text of this email correspondence on every gun board I can find
for the rest of this year.
--John

I highly recommend to all reading this to avoid him like the plague. DEAL WITH HIM AT YOU OWN RISK. If he gets this worked up about a mag, think what else he could do. Truth is I am worried about him coming to my house to try and start something. He keeps telling me he has my address.

You,re clear in my eyes Turrican. I had a deal go down on a strait trade, guy new exactly what I had and I knew exactly what he had. When he recieved mine, he called me saying I screwed him.

It took a bit of effort to appease his ignorance, but I did. So I feel for ya man!

the "exact same kit" was in reference to the Gunthings.com kit which

So is your apology genuine or do you still think you have a point? I dont understand. It seems like I am dealing with more then one personality here.

Since you enjoy posting my personal info including name and address so much I will now start posting yours too every time I see you doing it to me. We will see how you like it done to you.

I have asked you to remove my private information and even after your "public apology" you have refused so I guess the feud goes on.

I saw his thread on THR.

Sportsmans Guide has mags for $72 a dozen.

Get over it.

Welcome Turrican....

I had a similar situation on another board, XD Talk, to be exact...I had a 4-sale on another XD which a member offered to purchase...to make a long story short, I ultimately refused to sell to this individual after seeing some of his posts, which at best, were immature, ethnocentric, and downright racist in their intent....well, this hack goes about stalking me on XD Talk, and parses every word on any subject that I may have posted, all the while bitching about how I had welched on a deal...I got tired of his BS, and essentially verbally put the creep in his place, and got banned for it (apparently the Mods would not warn him of his stalking)...I took matters in my own hand, and paid the price, but that's OK...any forum that covers for and insulates a member who is racist is not a forum for me...in any event, welcome aboard.

All of this over a $12 mag? And you threatened to post his private info and pics of family online? (Where is that email in the chain of communication above?) Dude, that's waaay over the line.

And Turrican's post in the Saiga forum is priceless.

There is no point in continuing this thread. Both sides have stated their case. The original poster has apologized for the apparent misunderstanding, and that should have been the end of it.
