TFL is Now Taking Donations: Your Help Urgently Needed!
Every now and then we come upon a cause that is so worthy that we ask our members to step up to the plate and contribute some bucks. Think of it as TFL dues on the Honor System.
And so it is that we're asking you each to dig deep and give what you can to a project that I believe can truly make a difference. Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership is attempting to produce a documentary detailing the historic cost in human suffering which results from government disarmament of citizens. The film is appropriately titled Innocents Betrayed This is not a come-on for general donations to JPFO. All funds collected are placed into an escrow account specifically for the the film. If JPFO fails to raise the $170,000 budget, your contribution will be returned! Of all the pro-RKBA groups out there, I think JPFO has the most credibility in getting air time for this documentary on Public Service Stations and beyond. Your donations are tax deductible and can be as low as $29.00. I am so committed to this program that S.W.A.T. has donated $1,000 to join the Producer’s Circle. Any individual can join the Circle for $250. And I'm so committed to Mr. Zelman's work that I have personally taken a Lifetime Membership in his organization. Finally, S.W.A.T. is offering a 10% discount to any of our advertisers who join us in the Producers Circle. Consider this a personal appeal for your help. JPFO has raised 1/3 of the necessary budget in a few short months. If TFL Membership can't boost that by another $10,000, then we have no right calling ourselves "activists". Please get involved TODAY. Donate to the film, Innocents Betrayed. While you're at it, join JPFO....they are heard by many who refuse to give the NRA the time of day. JPFO's Web Site: http://www.jpfo.org The Film: http://www.jpfo.org/ib.htm The S.W.A.T. Challenge: http://www.jpfo.org/alert20020401.htm Thanks for your time. Rich Lucibella

Rich has given us the greatest web page in the world. I don't know about you, but I spend a lot of time here and have made a lot of friends. He has never asked us for anything. So if he is asking now it must be worth it! |

Thanks for the heads up Rich.
I just gave $1,000 in my company's name, and yes, I own the company. This is what 'merica is all about. I felt I had to do this for all the times I wanted to do something, but didn't have the money...time...etc. Those who can't give now, remember that you will be able to in the future. Let's get it to $10,000 by the end of next week. Rob |

After all this time Rich finally requests a small donation, I will give it. Come on you people- Only TFL has the capacity to throw together this kind of cash. GIVE, GIVE, GIVE!!!!
I'll join next month. I've been meaning to for a year or two anyway. Right now, they'll get some money for the documentary. PS: Will we be able to purchase a copy of it? I'm going there now to donate by CC.

And just when I've been contemplating re-upping my JPFO membership... Paycheck comes next Wed, so JPFO'll be getting a few bucks.
If they can raise $50k in three months, then this movie might have a shot at happening. Good luck to all concerned. - Chris

Well dangit, I don't have two nickels to rub together right now, and there'd be hell to pay if I put it on a credit card, but somehow there's $13.92 in my PayPal account. Since I can't think of a better way to empty that account , is there anyone who can relay my small pittance?

WOW! Where do I start with the thanks?!!!
Rob -
Your $1,000.00 match goes a long way. I'm certain I speak for Rob when I say that the others' $100's, $50's, $29's and even $13's are equally appreciated. You'll all be surprised how fast this will add up. As for those a bit short on the $29, tell you what: If someone can convert your PayPal bucks, we'll gladly make up the difference on your behalf and set up the donation. Anyone who can help with this, please let me know by email. If these guys are that willing to contribute, this is the least we can do. As for the rest of you TFL'rs, try this challenge on for size: If you guys can raise another $2,000 between 9:00PM tonight and Midnight on Sunday, TFL will make an additional $1,000 contribution to the film. Go for it! You guys haven't let us down yet....thank you all. Rich

Hey glad to put up the money, but I'm not thumping my chest. I did it for all the times that I wasn't there to support things like this. And ditto what Rich said...every dollar counts. Those $30's, $50's, etc. add up fast. Keep it coming.

Done. Made a donation, and while I poked around the site, decided to become a member. People, Rich NEVER asks anything of us financially. If this film actually gets made and actually gets shown somewhere in the mainstream media, the potential impact is enormous. Let's help make this happen.

Gave $75 to the film and joined JPFO, all in one fell swoop of the credit card.
Next?
